I began the show with a recording of a local legendary bluegrass band Lunch At The Dump recorded live at a legendary New Hampshire venue, The Stone Church, back in 1975 or 76. Then I had a couple of tracks of a brand new CD by a New Hampshire band GrassDawgs. After that it was theme radio, song with Memphis in the title, Memphis in the lyrics, or just about Memphis.

The first hour of this week's Folk Show was a continuation of my tribute to the life and music of New Hampshire based singer songwriter Bill Morrissey who passed away last weekend. I played a live set from a 1980 benefit show for WUNH, his 45 rpm single (on Shoot The Cat Records, 1977) of Live Free or Die, songs from a WUNH in studio from 1981 and a live version of Fix Your Hair The Way You Used To (released by Yankee magazine in 2001. The playlist for the second hour was more typical of recent Folk Show playlists.
