Charlie MacCall fills in for Larry Escovitz on this episode of Classical Connections. In our first hour, we look at the works of a group of Russian Composers known as The Five, credited with creating the sound known today as traditional Russian Classical music. For the second and final hour, we explore two pieces of Gustav Holst's Planets Suite before moving onto one of the composers who inspired it, Arnold Schoenberg.
